Here at Ironwood Dental Center we do an oral cancer screening on all our patients. It is a fact that approxomately 90% of patients diagnosed with oral cancer or pharyngeal cancer ( including cancer of the lips,mouth, throat, tongue, larynx and parts of the nose) are tobacco users. Oral cancer screening is part of your regular dental check-ups and cleanings and is one of the best ways to ensure early detection.
